Attendees will gather in the park near the ‘Welcome to Crofton’ sign where I will have some resources available on the the table I will have set up. There will be speeches, a performance by the Tzinquaw Dancers and live music until 8 p.m. I will be handing out purple glow stick necklaces for the vigil march on the seawalk at dusk. I will also be handing out bottled water and purple ribbons to wear for International Overdose Awareness Day on Aug. 31.
