We plan on having activities every day of the week while the students are in classes and after classes end.
These activities will include wearing purple bracelets with inspirational sayings every day of the week, making buttons for the students to wear, creating a banner to have all the students sign, having a presentation with a speaker(s) on Friday afternoon to share their experience(s) with near overdose experiences, reaching out to our state representatives with letters asking them to recognize Overdose Awareness, share posts and tributes to our loved ones using the hashtags #IOAD2024 #TogetherWeCan #EndOverdose on social media, and on the last day of the week have a candlelight service on the grounds with the purple lighting of the center followed with fellowship and purple cupcakes.
