Join us for the inaugural Overdose Awareness 5K and 1-Mile Remembrance Walk, a heartfelt event dedicated to honoring those we have lost to the fentanyl epidemic, including my beloved sister who passed away last November. This event aims to raise awareness and support for those affected by addiction. Proceeds will benefit Cathy’s Place of Charlotte County, a vital local resource for individuals facing substance use challenges.
As we travel, we will line the pathway with faces of loved ones we’ve lost, creating a powerful tribute to their memory. All participants will receive free Narcan as they cross the finish line!
Enjoy a day filled with community spirit, featuring a live DJ and exciting raffle prizes generously donated by local businesses. Together, let’s shine a light on this important issue and support one another in remembrance and healing.
