Join us for a day of remembrance, education, and support as we come together to honor Overdose Awareness Day. This event aims to raise awareness about overdose prevention, reduce the stigma surrounding drug-related deaths, and acknowledge those that have passed and the grief felt by families and friends.
Local leaders and community members will have the opportunity to discuss the issue of overdose and highlight the importance of this initiative for our community. Each life lost and every family member affected is significant, and this day allows everyone to share their experiences and remember those lost to overdose.
The 2024 IOAD theme is “Together We Can”, highlighting the power of community when we all stand TOGETHER!
Together, we can make a difference. Let’s remember, educate, and take action to prevent overdose deaths.
