International Overdose Awareness Day BBQ:

On this International Overdose Awareness Day, we come together to remember and honor the lives we’ve lost to overdose. This day holds deep meaning as we reflect on the profound impact overdose has had on our communities, families, and loved ones. While the grief can be overwhelming, we gather not only to mourn but to support each other, raise awareness, and promote harm reduction through education, naloxone training, and fostering connections.

Join us for a BBQ and games as we create a space of warmth as we remember those we have lost, where we can share stories, offer support, and stand together in solidarity. Let’s take this opportunity to cherish the memories of those we’ve lost, while also celebrating life, resilience, and the strength of our community.

Harm Reduction Education:
Throughout the day, we will be holding dedicated harm reduction education sessions aimed at providing practical knowledge on preventing overdose and keeping our community safe. These sessions will cover safer drug use practices, overdose response strategies and naloxone training, This is an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and empower ourselves to help prevent further tragedies.
