Roane County is hosting the International Overdose Awareness Day at David Webb Riverfront Park. This is a family-friendly event, with live music, face painting, with free pizza and waters. We will have persons in recovery speaking to attendees, and all will be encouraged to sign the named of a loved one on our remembrance banner along with photos (if you have). We will have over 15 community partners/organizations including the faith-based community supporting this event and resources will be provided to all attendees, including harm reduction resources.
