International Overdose Awareness Day is a campaign for communities around the world to come together to remember without shame those lost to overdose, acknowledge the grief of love ones left behind, reduce the stigma of drug-related deaths, and try to find ways to reduce the incidence and impacts of overdose. The day will be observed on 31 August, 2024.

Drug Advisory Training Hub (DATH) is arranging a special programs on international overdose day like media talk, general session and get to gather for parents who lose their beloved children’s. During this campaign we focus on promoting effective strategies, frontline workforce education and public awareness activities. Our work has a positive impact on people, health and law enforcement systems, the economy and society.
