Join BABSEACLE and communities worldwide in our Global Pro Bono Move for International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD) on August 31.
Support harm reduction, raise awareness of overdose and its impact on individuals, families, and communities, and help reduce stigma around overdose. Whether you walk, run, bike, or engage in any kind of sports, your involvement will spread awareness, challenge stigma, and show support for harm reduction.
On Saturday 31 August 2024, we have 6 virtual events that we invite & encourage you to join and “globally moving together to support understanding, compassion, and change to reduce the harms associated with drug use”.
You can walk/run/move/bike/wheel any time via the Strava App Club “The Global Pro Bono Move”, just remember to click the start and stop button on your app so we can record your kms. We also encourage you share photos of your move.
About the IOAD: International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD) – held on August 31 every year – is the world’s largest annual campaign to end overdose, remember without stigma those who have died and acknowledge the grief of family and friends left behind.
