There will be cars participating in the memorial walk transporting those who have access needs from The Nest to Recovery Café. If you would like a ride please speak with an event volunteer prior to the 1pm departure.

August 31 is International Overdose Awareness Day. We pause to honor those who have been impacted by substance use overdose, both in our local community and beyond. Come together this Saturday for the “Overdose Awareness Event – A Day of Remembrance and Celebration,” a free, all-ages community event at The Nest AND The Recovery Cafe.
This is a community event to raise awareness, reduce stigma and shame, grieve, honor and celebrate the lives of loved ones lost to overdose.
This event is a collaborative partnership among The Nest @ OWL360, Recovery Cafe, Jefferson County Public Health, Discovery Behavioral Health, Believe in Recovery, Kalma, and the Behavioral Health Consortium.
