VARP is holding a very special event for our inpatient consumers pursuing treatment for addiction, to honor those we have lost to overdose, pay respect to their memories, and celebrate our recovery.
The evening’s activities will include:
5:00 pm Dinner
5:45 pm Moment of Silence, and Remembrance
6:15 pm Snacks and Concessions
6:30 pm Viewing of the Movie “Flight”
9:00 pm Conclusion
The event will take place in the side yard next to GHM. The event is for our consumers. VARP alumni are invited as well. VARP staff members are also welcome to attend on a voluntary basis.
10 VARP buildings along our street will be lit in purple for the week preceding the event.
This will be both an impactful and enjoyable event. We plan to make it an annual occasion. Shout out to Jessica Garcia, for having the idea, and taking charge of the planning.
