Join us on August 31st for “Bring it to Light,” an International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD) event. This day marks the world’s largest annual campaign to end overdose, providing a moment to remember those who have lost their lives to drug overdose and to acknowledge the grief of the families and friends left behind.
Event Schedule:
Community Connection: The event will begin with an open period for attendees to walk around, visit booths, and connect with others. These booths will offer valuable information and resources for community members, families, and friends.
Proclamation and Guest Speaker: Following the initial connection time, we will have a formal proclamation, a guest speaker sharing their insights and experiences, and a powerful call to action.
Candlelight Vigil: The event will conclude with a solemn candlelight vigil and the reading of names to honor those who have passed away, providing a moment of reflection and remembrance.
